6.Find Your Biggest Why That Gets You Out of Bed Everyday

Quotations, Week 1 1 Comment

This is probably one of the best secrets of success I’ve come across. The reason is that it starts you thinking about why you are doing what you do from the moment you wake up.

The long term effect of this can’t easily be overstated. The reason is simple: you’re starting your day with the biggest reason to get you out of your comfort zone, your cacooon of safety that shields you from incomplete tasks, challenges, and concerns.

It’s these latter thoughts which will pull you down to the lowest common denominator of the 97% of the population who have backed out, who really don’t want the hassle of creating their own futures. I can well understand.

If I had no bigger purpose to fulfil, no bigger vision to see come into reality, I would be right there with them.

But my big vision helps me deal with the daily responsibilities and commitments that I so otherwise would want to shy away from.

What’s you big vision, or have you lost it? Or maybe you don’t want a bigger vision, just a simple dream that you want to see happen in your life.

    Hey Dez,

Love this dude! They say that your why should be so strong that it should make you cry. I know for myself personally I get extremely passionate when I discuss my why with other people and when I really stop to think about what it is I’m doing for my why. It is such a powerful reminder that even though everyday won’t go as you would like, you can reflect back on why you’re doing what you’re doing in order to get to where you want to go.

Great stuff man keep it up!

    See you at the top,
    Michael Stead
